For many people, the often hectic pace of different aspects of our lives (career, family, romantic and social relationships) can add up and cause overwhelming stress. This can lead to anxiety, depression, and other painful challenges. I have helped people successfully understand the ways in which the many currents of their lives interact to impact their emotional health. In addition to helping patients overcome problems such as depression and anxiety, I have helped many patients learn to better deal with relationships, improve body image, increase self esteem, enhance self-confidence, increase self-worth, and address bereavement, grief and loss. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) the focus of our sessions is designed to help you understand how your interpretations of situations influence your emotions and behaviours. You will learn to master a series of strategies specific to your needs to address your symptoms so the next time a problem arises, you'll have the tools you need to cope.
